Crisis Continues, Support Extinction Ad
Extinction is the most serious, irreversible impact humans have on the planet -- extinction is forever.
In 1923, two rare birds -- the Laysan flightless rail and Laysan honeyeater -- were filmed for the last time before they were completely wiped out. These days, three species go extinct every hour. Watch this last-chance footage in the two videos to the right and then make a gift to save our planet’s diverse life.
The Center for Biological Diversity is creating a powerful new television ad to educate tens of millions of people about the extinction crisis and what’s at stake in the fight to protect a diverse, healthy planet. And the ad will help inspire people to take urgent action to save our fellow earthlings.
We need to raise $75,000 in the next month to produce and distribute the Extinction Crisis ad. Please give today. If 1,000 people contribute $50 each, we can begin production right away.
Be part of this exciting new project today and know that the Center will use your donation efficiently and without waste. We’ve been rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator for the third year in a row. Please complete the form below to give online, or use the address at the bottom to give by check.
